Apostolic Faith Tabernacle

Let us RISE and BUILD

Treasure Adventure

Vacation Bible School 2008 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle enriched the lives of some 80 children from the local areas.  Supported by our Sunday School Department, Youth Department and Ladies Ministry, this year's VBS was yet another successful community outreach program sponsored at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.

The weeks prior  to the VBS, the Sunday Teachers, Youth and Ladies were busy fasting, praying, planning, fundraising, purchasing material, cutting up crafts, registering, decorating, and promoting  this year’s VBS.   Our VBS began with songs with Pastor Begay, teachings by the Sunday school teachers, Lunch served by the Ladies Ministry, and games with our youth department.  The VBS concluded with a water fight and pizza party, free snow cones, prizes awarded for the VB S Student of the week.  All the investments made paid off when we returned that Friday evening for our youth service and 5 VBS students received the Holy Ghost for the first time.

We want to thank:

Sis. Kathy Yazzie of Mesa, AZ and Bro. and Sis. Russell our Youth leader for having such a burden to plan another successful VBS

The Sunday school teachers and Youth Department for their help and support.

The Ladies Ministry for their generous donation of 800.00 and delicious lunch prepared every day.

Bro.  Daniel and Sis. Elleen for the snow cones that cooled us off and decorating the fellowship hall.

Sis. Lucinda Lee for donating the pizza that fed our student and staff.

Bro.  Jay Yazzie Jr and Bro. Warren and Suzanne Begay for the back packs and school supplies.
